Professionals Real Estate Group will hold a major fundraising breakfast for the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Thursday 30 October, 2008 at the Grand Ballroom, Hyatt Regency Perth.

This annual event raises much need funds for breast cancer research with the 2007 National Breast Cancer Foundation Pink Ribbon Breakfast raising over $25,000.

David Hobbs, CEO of Professional Real Estate Group, said that the group was eager to raise even more funds during 2008 by encouraging more people to attending this year’s breakfast.

“During 2008, Professionals plan to raise $250,000 towards cancer research as a Diamond partner of the National Breast Cancer Foundation and this annual breakfast is an important part of our fundraising process.

“The 2008 National Breast Cancer Foundation Pink Ribbon Breakfast will be hosted by Claudia Bertorello and will feature former Australian Idol brothers Chris & Courtney Murphy, Channel Seven’s Denis Cometti and a host of other entertainment.

“By attending this fundraising breakfast, members of the local community can attend a highly enjoyable event and at the same time raise vital funds for breast cancer research.

“Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in Australia. It is estimated that more than 2,640 women will die from the disease in a single year – making it the leading cause of cancer-related death in females.

“The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is renowned for funding high quality research and supporting a generation of significant milestones in breast cancer knowledge. Since its inception, the National Breast Cancer Foundation has funded $44.5 million in research funds, sponsoring 168 projects,” he said.

The cost of attending the 2008 National Breast Cancer Foundation Pink Ribbon Breakfast is $50.00 per person and $450.00 for a table of ten people.
